Sarasota resident, Kimberley Reibel started her journey in a small resort town in Northern Michigan called Charlevoix. Her family purchased Castle Van Haver, a local tourist attraction, rich with history and formerly part of the Albert Loeb Estate. In 1977, Castle Farms Music Theatre was born with the first outdoor concert. Kimberley saw this as an opportunity to learn everything she could about the wonderful world of music! From 1977 to 1996, Castle Farms Music Theatre offered, one-of-a-kind, live entertainment, with well-known artists performing on the largest outdoor stage in a five state region. Artists include; Tom Petty, Tina Turner, Chicago, Moody Blues, Bob Seger, Willie Nelson, REO Speedwagon, Loggins and Messina, Stevie Nicks, The Doobie Brothers, and the list goes on, drawing crowds upwards of 18,000 people.
Over these years, Kimberley was active in all aspects of the business, becoming a promotor in her own right. In 1990, Kimberley created the Castle Farms Arts Festival, a two-day, juried fine arts festival, which included local performing artists and over 125 visual artists. In 1992, Kimberley worked with local wine growers and merchants to open Castle Farms Wine Tasting, the first Michigan made, wine-tasting room in Charlevoix.
In 1999 Kimberley relocated to Sarasota, FL to begin a more technical career in her 2nd passion, database research and management. Working closely with a variety of non-profits and businesses over the years such as the American Red Cross, The Wellness Community, and the Sarasota Sailing Squadron, Kimberley has gained a stellar reputation for her unique skills and experiences.
