Marcel has been managing Chuchito Valdes for 15 years. It has been a wonderful experience being able to represent such a talented and professional musician from a long history of extreme talent, being that he is the grandson of Bebo Valdes, and son of Chucho Valdes, the most recognized family of piano from Cuba.
Marcel has produced concerts in New York at Caramoor and Jerome Green Space, at the Annenberg Theater in Palm Springs, McCallum Theater in Palm Desert, the Show at Agua Caliente Casino Resort in Rancho Mirage, in Cancun Mexico including the Cancun Jazz Festival.
Marcel has been on the road with Mr. Valdes within the United States and worldwide. He has produced all of Chuchito Valdes’ recordings which have been been nominated for 7 Latin Grammys. He is currently working on releasing a new record for 2024.
