Steve Frumkin

Steve Frumkin heads up our booking agency and artist management division.  Steve and Jim started the agency in 2002.  He’s had the pleasure of helping to promote and book many of the great artists of our time including Brian Auger’s Oblivion Express, Freddy Cole (Nat’s brother), Mose Allison, Larry Coryell, David “Fathead” Newman and all of our current amazing artists.

Steve has helped produce concerts at the Brantford International Jazz Festival (Frank Sinatra Jr., Al Jarreau, Chuck Mangione, Count Basie Orchestra), the Lakeland Jazz Festival (Pat Martino, Yellowjackets) as well as Roberta Flack and Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra.

Steve’s music career started in playing string bass and electric bass in big bands in NE Ohio.  He could swing the heck out of a big band!  His main band was the very popular Nightcoach.

After spending 22 years in the technology industry, working for numerous major tech companies including Nortel Networks, Xerox Global Services, Dictaphone Telephony Recording Systems, as well as National Sales Manager for Adler-Royal (Royal typewriters, calculators, word processors), and with the crash of the Dot Com Bubble, he made the jump to his first passion into the music industry.

Steve also assists Jim with the marketing and production of our live concerts in NE Ohio and Florida.

Steve lives in Sarasota, FL since 2012, but spent the first 58 years of his life in Cleveland.  He’s a big fan of the Cleveland Guardians (previously Indians) and old movies.
